Local bus travel with us can be great value. As well as our range of discount day, season and combination tickets, we offer concessionary travel rates to many people, including children, students and the elderly.
Concessionary permits are usually issued by your local council or education establishment, so please do contact them for more details. You must always carry your concessionary permit when travelling, and show it to the driver each time you board the bus.
There are two types of concessionary bus pass. One is issued for customers with disabilities and the other is for older customers, generally at state pension age. If you're unsure if you qualify please contact your local council.
If you pass is issued by the following authorities you are entitled to the following concessions:
Bedford Borough Council
- £1 travel before 09:30 on weekdays within Bedford Borough. This must be paid in cash. Your card will automatically register when presented to the machine
- FREE travel from 09:30 until 23:00 on weekdays
- FREE travel anytime at weekends
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority
- FREE travel from 09:30 until 23:00 on weekdays
- FREE travel anytime at weekends
Central Bedfordshire Council
- FREE travel anytime when boarding within Central Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire on weekdays. Standard rules apply outside of Central Bedfordshire
- FREE travel anytime at weekends
Hertfordshire County Council
- FREE travel anytime when boarding within Central Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire on weekdays. Standard rules apply outside of Central Bedfordshire
- FREE travel anytime at weekends
Luton Borough Council
