Changes to bus services in Luton, Dunstable and Biggleswade 22/08/2024

From 1st September 2024 we will be operating revised timetables on the following services: 

Journeys at 1040, 1140 and 1240 are withdrawn due to low usage. The 1510 journey will terminate in Dunstable and the 1540 will no longer start in Luton. The service will continue to operate hourly between Weatherby and Dunstable

Working in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council we’ll be increasing the timetable to every 30 minutes. Journeys will alternate between running direct via White Lion Retail Park and serving Dunstable Town Centre.

Following discussions with Central Bedfordshire Council, we will additionally serve Nursery Close for students at Edward Peake. There are no other changes to the timetable.

Service 78 will be withdrawn, customers in Upper Sundon are advised to use Arriva service 23 via Sundon Park and Linmere. Service 79 will be enhanced from the same date with additional journey between Barton-Le-Clay and Luton

 

Service 189 will extend to serve the Nursery Close bus stop for Edward Peake students. There are minor changes to the afternoon 190 timetable to accommodate the change. Service 189 will serve Cockayne Hatley turn.
