UB1 service change 31/12/2024
From Thursday 2nd January the UB1 service we operate on behalf of the University of Bedfordshire will have a new route and timetable. Buses will continue to operate every 30 minutes during term time with a skeleton service provided outside of term times.
Buses will no longer serve Warwick Avenue or Alexander Sports Centre. From Bedford Bus Station buses will operate via Greyfrairs, A4280 and Ashburnham Road to Bedford Rail Station, before returning via A4280 and Union Street to Roff Avenue.
The change will mean buses stay on time better during busy periods.
The UB1 service is operated on behalf of the University of Bedfordshire. It is available to staff, students and permitted visitors to the University.
The service connects Bedford campus with Bedford town centre. You must show your staff ID card, student ID card or University visitor bus pass to use the service.
